Discovery Support

You need to ask the right questions to get the right answers.  Unfortunately, often consulting experts and expert witnesses are not brought into a case until late in discovery, limiting the data available on which to base the expert's opinion and limiting the assistance that can be provided.  On technical cases, we know what to ask for in discovery that's likely to yield useful results.  We also know what standard information should be available for companies in different industries as part of the design or manufacturing processes, and how to specifically request that information.

Don't wait until Discovery is nearly over to bring experts on board.  The delay can leave experts without enough time to conduct testing or research which may be critical to providing scientific validity for their opinions.  This can leave the work of even the most qualified experts open to Daubert challenges on theories or opinions that are easily testable, but for which the expert did not have time to test.
